Before anyone ever takes a puff, or a hit, or a drink, there is a decision made -- a healthy decision or an unhealthy one. Sometimes making a healthy choice is hard because we are tired, stressed, angry, pressured, or infatuated by another person, but you are always worth taking care of. Most schools offer information about the dangers of smoking, drinking, or taking illegal drugs, but talking to an adult about these issues may help teens know what to say and how to make decisions that keep them safe.

We have presented information here to help you gain knowledge, but the more important thing teens need is a commitment to take care of themselves when they are faced with a choice!

This section includes information to help you help your teen make healthy choices.
