June 2007

Patients with medical problems that require prompt attention can now visit PAMF's Web site at www.pamf.org to view approximate wait times for PAMF's Urgent Care Center before coming to the Palo Alto Clinic for care.

Urgent Care wait times are updated daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. (during normal Urgent Care hours) and give patients an estimate of how long they may have to wait before being seen by a physician. (The times are approximations only and are subject to change.)

The Center encourages patients to make appointments with their primary care doctors, if possible, since wait times are often unpredictable, as patients who are critically ill or injured are seen first.

PAMF's Urgent Care Center is open 365 days a year, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Center has been providing care for a variety of medical problems since 1984 and is staffed by physicians who are board-certified in emergency medicine, family medicine and internal medicine.
