To continue providing patients with the most convenient and efficient way to manage their health care, PAMFOnline is now pleased to offer online password reset. In the event patients forget their PAMFOnline password, they have the opportunity to receive a new access code by personal e-mail that will allow them to reset their password.

"Patients have been asking for the ability to reset their password online, and we’ve listened," said Barbara Love, manager of PAMFOnline. "Instead of waiting for a new access code to be sent via U.S. mail, patients can now request a new access code electronically that will allow them faster access to their PAMFOnline account."

Love said patients should be aware that anyone with access to their e-mail account could potentially gain access to their personal health record by using the access code sent to their personal e-mail account. Therefore, it is important to never share a personal e-mail password with anyone.

To use the online password reset feature, patients must know their PAMFOnline I.D., date of birth and Social Security number, and must successfully answer the challenge question they've previously established when setting up their PAMFOnline account. If all items do not match or an item is left blank, a patient's access code will be mailed via U.S. mail to the address on their PAMFOnline account. (Patients may also request that a new access code be sent via U.S. mail if they prefer not to use the online password reset feature.)

Users may sign up by logging on to their PAMFOnline account, clicking on "My Personal Information" from the left menu, and then clicking on "Internet Password Reset."

"We will always seek new ways to improve our service," said Love." We appreciate that our patients continue to share their feedback and tell us the features they need to best manage their care using PAMFOnline."
