In December 2008, Anthony Dobson, M.D., Ph.D., and his colleagues in the Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility (REF) Department at PAMF's Fremont Center got a visit they'd been anticipating for nearly a year – the first patient to deliver a baby stopped by to show off her newborn.

"It is so gratifying to see the thrill and happiness the baby brings," said Dr. Dobson, who added the baby is an important milestone for the Fremont REF Department. "For many couples having trouble conceiving, the time between when they first attempt conception and when they finally deliver can be long. This joyful event is the reason we do what we do," he said.

Dr. Dobson, along with Sunny Jun, M.D., and their colleagues in the REF Department, offers a wide variety of diagnostic services and state-of-the-art fertility treatment options, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), assisted reproductive technologies (ART) and artificial insemination.
