Community Outreach at PAMF

Below are some examples of other community events and partnerships in which PAMF participates.
  • Teen and preteen Web sites, "We're Talking!" and "We're Talking Too!" (www.pamf.org/teen) and (www.pamf.org/preteen), to provide children and their parents with medically accurate health information
  • Our Parents Web site, an online resource for local parents
  • The Community Health Resource Center in Palo Alto and the Family Health Resource in Fremont
  • Grants to and sponsorships of non-profits for health-related events and programs
  • Health-information columns in local newspapers
  • Corporate and community health fairs
  • Physician-sponsored pre-medical college scholarships
  • Physician and employee participation in volunteer and community activities, such as free medical clinics
  • Community advisory councils in Fremont, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Santa Cruz, southern San Mateo County and the Tri-Valley to promote open communication with local leaders and organizations about PAMF's community-benefit activities
