Children get hurt -- it's a fact of life. As a parent, you cannot prevent all accidents from happening. However, you can be prepared to deal with them when the time comes.

Whether they have a small splinter or a broken bone, it is always hard to see your child in pain. You can help make the incident less traumatic for your child and ease their worries by remaining calm and knowing what to do.

This section contains information on common injuries and information to help you prevent, treat or seek medical attention for the injury.
